Where To Place Your Bamboo Feng Shui Plant?

Whether it is in their offices or their homes, very often many people place their Bamboo Feng Shui plants at the wrong places. Unknown to them, not only could they have downgraded their own Feng Shui "Qi" status instantly because of this, they could have also killed their lovely Bamboo Feng Shui plants which suppose to be there to help enhance their Feng Shui in the first place.

Although most people have a place in mind as to where they want to plant their Feng Shui Bamboo, one should keep in mind that most large Feng Shui bamboos grow quicker and do their best in full sun. They must be given ample water, fertilizer, and protection from competitive weeds.

Getting Green With Bamboo

What is all this fuss about being green? If your social conscience is pricking and you want to feel virtuously green, have you thought of utilizing bamboo? You can build a shed with it, eat it, sleep in it, walk on it, wear it, or grow it as a tree or bush to make more oxygen for the planet! Now that is being green!

Bamboo is so fast growing it could be the most 'sustainable' and natural commodity on the planet! On the question of it being replaceable, well some bamboos can grow as much as one meter in one day which is 1.5-2.0 inches per hour (under special accelerated conditions).

Even under natural growth conditions, a large full-sized bamboo tree could grow in six years, as opposed to sixty years for an average North American tree. This is a very high yield; in fact bamboo has been labeled the fastest growing renewable resource on the planet.

With all this growth, bamboo can be exploited without guilt, but in the West we have not, so far, found many uses for bamboo. All this is changing with the onset of the green outlook; in Asia, bamboo has been used for almost everything.

For centuries, Asians have used bamboo to make houses, to form single span bridges and to build scaffolding for high rise buildings; they have been making hard wood-effect floors with it, making towels and sheets with it, eating from it and even eating it (bamboo shoots). How versatile is that?

Good Luck II

Good luck seems like random fortunate coincidences, but there are things we do that cause more of what we call "luck," both good and bad. Usually, we don't know we are doing these things, but what if we did? Could we then create luck?

Yes. Actually, there are at least seven specific techniques you can use to generate more good luck. This article is about just one of those techniques, one of the easiest ones. It is simply choosing to recognize the luck you already have, until your mind is trained to do this automatically.

Recognize Good Luck

Once, when I bought a particular car, I suddenly began to see the same model all over. The other cars had always been there, of course, but now I was noticing them, because my mind was "tuned into" that model. Perhaps you've had a similar experience. This is how our brains work. We see more of whatever we are looking for or "tuned into", and this is true with luck too. Just look for it, and you'll see more of it.

Why does "seeing" your luck matter? For two important reasons. The first is that you'll feel better when you start noticing the ways in which you are lucky. Counting your "blessings" brings a sense of gratitude that is good for your soul, even if you're not religious. The psychology of this process is real regardless, so this is a brain training exercise for a better life.

The second reason is that when you start recognizing the luck you have, and watching for more, you'll notice that you "get lucky" more often. It won't be your imagination. Yes, you will actually have more good luck, and there is a logical explanation for this.

Motivation: Good Luck or Bad Luck, Too Soon to Tell

As the story goes, there was once a farmer and his only son in the days just before the Civil War. Having only one horse, the farmer and son worked long hard days, sun up to sun down, just to get by, with nothing left to spare.

One day as the father and son plowed the fields, their horse got spooked and ran off. The son was devastated; “What bad luck, now what will we do?”

The father replied; “Good luck, bad luck, too soon to tell.”

The father and son continued to work the farm. Then one day their horse comes running back over the hill with 6 other horses. The son exclaimed, “What great luck, now we have all the horses we’ll ever need!”

To which the farmer replied; “Good luck, bad luck, too soon to tell.”

The next day as the farmer and son were working with the horses, one particulary difficult horse threw the son off his back and broke his leg. The son cried: “Oh father, I am so sorry, now you have to work the farm all by yourself. What bad luck!”

Once again the father replied: “Good luck, bad luck, too soon to tell.”

Several days later the Civil War broke out and all the able bodied young men were sent off to war. The farmer’s son, having a broken leg, was forced to stay at home.

After the leg had healed, the father had the only farm around with a son to help and seven horses to boot. They worked the farm and prospered.

Good luck, bad luck. It’s too soon to tell.

Perhaps.

Good luck, bad luck. It’s all in how you look at it.

Getting closer.

The Secret to Luck

Are you looking to have a little more "luck" in your life? Perhaps you'd like be more often in the right place at the right time, get globs of intuitive hunches, navigate the cross currents of life more skillfully. Perhaps you'd like to be taken away on a magic carpet ride, complete with the wind at your sails and doors opening for you each step of the way.

If you desire this, consider developing "Intuitive Magic."

The intuitive part of "Intuitive Magic" is the receiving of guidance from spirit. I was looking to sell my house. I had very few buyers looking at it. Suddenly in the fourth month of it being on the market, I had this "hunch" now was my window of opportunity to sell it. I called my realtor and said, "Lower the price." I figured the market had deteriorated so rapidly, the best way to get a sale was a further price reduction.

Later the same day, before the price was lowered, I received notice a buyer was coming to view my home. This buyer, the first one in six weeks, had the same first name as mine and fell in love with my home! A deal was made because I was ready to lower my price. I knew through a "hunch" I should lower it or lose the chance to sell for a long while.

The magic part of "Intuitive Magic" is the ability to create and shape your reality according to your wishes, dreams and needs. I had a buyer for my home, but suddenly the deal turned financially adverse for me. I summoned up some magic and commanded the universe make the deal "fair." Even though I was told there was no way the buyer would agree to new terms and conditions for the deal, like magic it was accepted!

The main way to have more "Intuitive Magic" in your life is through the R-A-R-E formula. R-A-R-E stands for Relax, Ask, Receive Entirely.

Can You Really Create Your Own Luck by Using Affirmations?

Have you ever come across people who seem to be lucky in just about every situation and circumstance? They find a good parking space when not even bad ones are available. They just happen to find a $50 bill on the pavement. By some uncanny coincidence, they meet the right people at just the right time. They land their dream jobs. They triumph over misfortune. They get the girl (or guy) in the end -just like in movies with happy endings.

We consider people lucky when, using no apparent effort, they just automatically run into favorable situations that we call luck. Luck isn't necessarily a result of karma or coincidence. I believe that these lucky people actually "unconsciously generate" their so-called luck. They think and behave in ways that create good fortune in their lives. A large part of this is through a positive attitude or mindset, and how better to instill a positive attitude or mindset than through affirmations?

Anthony Robbins relates the story of a man who, after using a wealth affirmation for just a few days, won several million dollars in a state lottery. Some people would call that a coincidence. Some would call it providence. But whatever you call it, it's certainly worthy of further investigation.

Serendipity is defined as the faculty or phenomenon of finding valuable or agreeable things not sought for. That, too, is something we call luck. But what if you could find valuable or agreeable things that you actually are seeking -and what if you could do it at will?

There are affirmation techniques that empower you to achieve your desires and dreams in ways that appear to be pure luck. You can actually attract good luck in ever area of your life - and make it look easy while doing it.

Richard Wiseman, the head of a psychology research department at the University of Hertfordshire in England, and author of the book, "The Luck Factor," did in-depth studies with his colleagues at the university's Perrott-Warrick Research Unit focusing on what makes some people lucky and others not. After conducting hundreds of experiments and thousands of interviews, he discovered that lucky people think and behave in ways that create good fortune in their lives. They are 1) particularly open to possibility; and 2) they expect good fortune to come their way.

Lucky Nine

Do not put your hundred bucks and efforts to waste. Take good care of your cellphone and follow the nine basic precautions that will help save your gadget.

1. When sending a message, making a call, or doing any cellphone activity, make sure that the gadget is not pointing towards a person or an animal because the radiation of the electronic device is high and very dangerous to living cells and other essential parts of the body system. Whenever you make or answer a call, use your headset or Bluetooth headset just to make sure that you and your health won't be affected by the emission of harmful radiation.

2. For your headsets, it is better if you have the cotton ear covers so that you won't be in pain after the headset stays on your ears for a long duration on your ears.

3. Upon purchasing a mobile phone in an accredited store, they usually sell it in packages with your cell phone with its important basic accessories like the headset, and the charger. When you plug your chargers to outlets, make sure that the amount of volts corresponds accordingly. Also, it is recommended that you use a charger that is suitable for your cellphone to avoid damage. In addition, if you do not have your charger with you and resort to borrowing from your friend, make sure that the connector has the same shape with your mobile phone outlet for charging.

4. Refrain from placing it above or near hot surfaces like on the top of the refrigerator or a functioning component or television. If you do not want to use it for a period of time, keep it inside a case, or place it inside a safe area where it won't be crushed by heavy objects.

Why Some Guys/Gals Have All The Luck

If you are like me ( as I was before), by now you would be thinking there is no 'Mr or Mrs Right' out there for you. My personal answer to this will be “NO! There is certainly NO RIGHT PARTNER for you out there.”

Like any product, valuable products are highly priced while the mass production goods are of low quality and less priced.

Looking at the low quality products, which you will agree with me, they hardly command any care and are very short lived.

This is what happens to anyone who does not put value on him or herself when it comes to relationships. It is hard hitting but the truth! You need to first RESPECT YOURSELF and the world will follow suit.

Taking a common pair of jeans, if you do buy two pairs one for $25.00 and another for $250.00 it is logic that you will rough ride the $25.00 pair and the $250 pair would be reserved for your special outings. Even how you care for these two pairs of jeans would be different.

In the same manner this is what most people do go through in relationships and we wonder why some particular girls or boys do have all the luck and fun.

The answer is – they do love themselves, respect themselves AND price themselves very high, because they are confident in themselves, PERIOD!

And when I talk about price I do not mean just demanding to be taken to the most expensive restaurants or being given the most costly gifts that have ever been sold on this earth. That is a definite NO GO!

Get Lucky by Being an Optimist

Everyone knows the famous advice “if life throws you lemons, make lemonade”, meaning take whatever bad life throws your way and turn it into something good and sweet. This advice is something that a lucky person would live by. The lucky person would always look for the good in any situation. Professor Wiseman discovered in his experiments on luck that lucky people and unlucky people look at life and specific incidents very differently. In a car crash, an unlucky person would say “oh %#%$, I can’t believe this happened to me, I have the worst luck”. The lucky person would say “I can’t believe how lucky I am to be alive after that crash, it’s a good thing no one was badly hurt”. This same thinking is used over and over again with lucky and unlucky people.

Optimistic thinking can lead to luckortunity in infinite situations. A lucky person will go to new places because he says “you never know what you are going to see or who you will meet. The unlucky person says “why should I go there? It is always the same people”. The lucky person looks for good things in his day and focuses on the good and new. The unlucky person just keeps thinking “S.S.D.D.” (same crap, different day).

You Make Your Own Luck

Some individuals seem to have an inexplicable abundance of good fortune. They are successful in matters of love, in their careers, in their finances, and in leading happy and meaningful lives. Yet these people don't seem to work particularly hard, nor do they posses extraordinary intelligence or other gifts. Of course there are also the natural opposites of the superfortunate; people who repeatedly fail despite their efforts and talents.

As is true with so many human problems, people tend deal with this difficult-to-quantify inequality by giving it a name– "luck"– and then disclaiming any responsibility for how much of it they are apportioned. Luck is considered by many to be a force of nature, coming and going as inevitably as the tide. But Richard Wiseman, a professor at Britain's University of Hertfordshire, has conducted some experiments which indicate to him that we have a lot more influence on our own good fortune than we realize.

Professor Wiseman executed a ten-year study to determine the nature of luck, and published his findings in a book called The Luck Factor: The Scientific Study of the Lucky Mind. Among other things, he experimentally studied the lottery winnings from people who count themselves as "lucky" and compared them to those who are self-described as "unlucky," and found that one's perception of their own luck before a lottery has no bearing on their likelihood of winning. Naturally this outcome was no surprise, because lotteries are driven purely by random chance. But in another test, the good professor asked participants to count the number of photographs in a sample newspaper, and subjects who has described themselves as "lucky" were much more likely to notice a message on page two, disguised as a half-page advertisement with large block letters: STOP COUNTING–THERE ARE 43 PHOTOGRAPHS IN THIS NEWSPAPER.
