Your success plan begins with your attitude and mindset. What are your intentions? What kind of person do you want to be? How do you want to treat other people? Do you believe it is necessary to give to others in order to get what you want?
Well, as entrepreneurs our “success plan” in a home-based business for “success online” must always be done in a spirit of service and contribution. There is a universal truth which is the path that to get what you want—you must give. When you give, you get. What you sow, you shall reap. If this is true, then what is it we must give?
Here are seven things you must give to others if you want to achieve success by “changing the course of your life”:
1. Give Others Your Honesty.
The world we live in has a few simple rules that we must follow to be successful in being able to attain your goals and keep your character at the same time. It begins with being honest in all your affairs with others. Honesty is the single most important factor having a direct bearing on the final success of an individual with a home-based business and all your relationships for "success online". In all things and at all times, give others your honesty.
2. Give Others Your Respect.
Most of the time we give people respect based on what they have done or what they have accomplished. We gauge whether or not they are "worthy" of it based on what we know about what they have achieved, who they know, or are related to. However, as a business success strategy, we should respect people for simply being people. What would happen in our world, in our company, and in our families if we started with respect for everyone else rather than making them earn it? I think we would see that most people would live up to the respect that we give them!
3. Give Others Your Vulnerability.
We are taught to be strong and yes; we should be strong. However, we have also embraced something that keeps us from having the kind of life that we long for. It keeps us from experiencing the kind of relationships that would bring deep meaning to us and it is the idea of vulnerability.
Allowing yourself to be vulnerable to others is attractive to others and draws them to you. People like to see others be “real” and they in turn will open up to you and allow themselves to be “real”. The truth is we are all been hurt in life and we all have secrets within us. However, when we allow ourselves to be vulnerable—it makes others like us better and therefore; it creates better relationships and it is also a healthy business success strategy that will always work in your favor.
4. Give Others Your Care.
Take the time to show people you care. Listen to them, empathize with them, and love them. I have found that when we show people we care, our business succeeds and it will “change the course of our lives”. Also, by showing others we care it not only blesses them but, it also blesses us. This is a guarantee in our “success plan” to gain financial freedom.
