How To Make Your Own Luck

How many times have you shaken your head in amazement at the 'luck' of others? From
the multiple jackpot winner to the treasure found for one dollar at a yard sale to the slight
delay that allowed one to narrowly miss an accident, we have all heard the stories, and
maybe even witnessed some. Of course, there are also those who just seem to effortlessly
succeed in everything they do, and so they are labeled as lucky. But what makes a lucky
person so fortunate? The answer is simple: they do.

Lets face it some things simply cannot be explained; whether it is called fate,
coincidence, or sheer, dumb luck, there are those among us who seem to always be in the
right place at the right time. More often than not, though, they are there not because of
fate, but because of their determination and mindset. That does not mean that you can
will yourself to win the lottery; rather, it means that you cannot win the lottery if you do
not play. You see, you can make your own luck. Consider the success stories printed in
the papers and magazines; inspirational stories of men and women who have overcome
serious obstacles to become extremely successful. Lady Luck did not pick these people
out; they picked her.
